About Us

Oldenburg Farm, LLC is a privately-owned and operated farm located just
miles north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Oldenburg Farm's livestock breeding
program includes performance Quarter Horses and registered Texas Longhorn cattle.


Facility

This state-of-the-art facility sits on over 200 acres of lush pasture in
scenic Wisconsin. The design emerged around the owner's desire to create
a "rustic" feeling, and the designer's admiration of the work of Frank Lloyd Wright.
The elements of Prairie Architecture blend with the design elements
included to honor the history of the area.

The four-foot fieldstone base of the building echoes the design of the two barns
which had been on the site since the 1800's. The horizontal banding, cantilevered
planes of the roof and the clerestory windows are all elements of the Prairie style.
The octagonal shapes reflect a traditional barn pattern of the area, and the rooms
combine elements of that rustic heritage with modern form and elegance.


Horses

We pride ourselves in our select group of broodmares which represent some of the
most sought after bloodlines in the reining horse industry. We specialize in
raising elite performance quarter horses with an emphasis on quality of care from birth on.
Well bred quality raised young stock with strong foundations is our focus. Oldenburg Farm
utilizes the most respected farriers and veterinarians the area has to offer.

We are also proud to work in conjunction with Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses, Inc.
We are active members of the AQHA, APHA and NRHA.


Cattle

Oldenburg Farm is proud to raise registered Texas Longhorn cattle.
The Texas Longhorn is our breed of choice due to their great dispositions
ease of care and calving, and the uniqueness of the breed. As we are located
in the "dairy state", the Longhorns bring a little character to our "neck of the woods".

We strive to breed for body, horn, conformation, and color. Oldenburg Farm is an
active member of the GNTLA (Greater Northern Texas Longhorn Association) and
the TLBAA (Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America).
